Our Paths 2 Prosperity Employment Programme Returns for Another Year!

Our free employment support programme is here to help you build confidence, develop skills, and take the next step for those who are economically inactive...

The Joseph Lappin Centre's Paths 2 Prosperity programme is back for another year, offering practical, person-centred support for adults who are ready to move closer to work, training, or volunteering.

The programme is designed for people who may have been out of work for some time, are rebuilding confidence after a difficult period, or simply need clear guidance on what the next step looks like. Support is tailored and realistic, with a focus on progress that feels achievable.

Participants can access one-to-one mentoring, CV support, interview preparation, digital skills sessions, and help identifying local opportunities that match their goals. The programme also works closely with training providers and partner organisations, creating routes into qualifications and further support where needed.

What makes Paths 2 Prosperity valuable is that it starts with the individual. Rather than expecting people to fit into a rigid process, the team takes time to understand each person's circumstances, ambitions, and barriers, then builds a pathway forward from there.

Over the coming months, the programme will once again support local residents in building confidence, exploring new options, and preparing for work in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
